COUNTRY Financial partners with several communities across the country to support Money Smart activities and essay contests. COUNTRY Financial sponsors the essay contest’s first place prize as part of Money Smart Week, a national public awareness campaign to help individuals and families better manage their personal finances.

Dear Houston Money Week Partners, in the wake of the COVID-19, also know as Coronavirus outbreak, we have received official notice from our national partner, Money Smart Week that all events are being canceled. This includes all Houston Money Week events, signature events, and contests.

Statewide financial literacy essay contests open to students in grades 6 to 12.
